Description:

Join professional photographers John Abbott, Thomas Shahan, and Alex Wild for a 3 day workshop exploring arthropod photography in the beautiful woodlands and prairies of Missouri's Shaw Nature Reserve. Topics include:

 Macro- & microphotography equipment
 Digital asset management and workflow
 Composition
 Lighting & flash
 Working with live insects
 Special techniques: focus-stacking, time-lapse & video
 Field sessions in prairie, woodland, and aquatic habitats
 Evening photo-sharing presentations
 and more!

Events kick off with a Friday evening welcome (Sept 2) and continue through mid-day on Monday (Labor Day). Registration fee includes catered meals, and the Full Registration option covers dormitory-style lodging at Shaw, although there are also several hotels in the area.
